The driver greets every passenger with a smiling, "Good morning!" The passengers who leave through the front door are told, "Have a good day!" and maybe, "Happy Thanksgiving."
Her old high school friend is on board, sitting up front. They gossip about their old friends and what happened back when.
At my stop, she used the microphone, which pipes both inside and outside the bus, to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving.
